TSClip
For a long time it was just a throw-away prototype. Several people kept using it though. A few kept asking for new versions. A couple of bugs deserved to be fixed, and once in a while I missed some extra options.
So, here we go:
Features include input level boost, followed by a saturation module (previously known as the "warm" mode) with drive (0dB setting matches the old saturation) and a simple bass boost to compensate for the potential loss of low frequencies.
Followed by the saturation is the famous clipper itself, with a peak limit control and an optional makeup switch (which boosts the limit back to 0dB after clipping).
And blinking lights to show you how you're clipping far more than you should. :)
Note: might or might not work as a drop-in replacement to the old versions without a GUI.
New features in the GUI version:
- it has a custom GUI by me and my wonderful graphics skills
- blinking lights when clipping
- saturation now comes with drive and bass-boost controls
- saturation (only) is now internally oversampled
- clipping can be turned off and has an optional auto-makeup switch
